We are the Jackson Choral Society — a true community choir bringing together a wide variety of people to share their love of music through song. The choir is open to everyone! We don't require auditions. Nearly 100 singers present at least two concerts each year, accompanied by up to 15 instrumentalists.
Choral music impacts our community for good. "A vibrant community choir like ours is a stabilizing, unifying force that lifts up the Good, the True, and the Beautiful for the West Tennessee community to savor and enjoy," says our director, Zach Young. Singers' Music Fund
Every singer needs music, but the cost of sheet music has jumped over the past few years. The Jackson Choral Society has kept each singer's music fee unchanged at $30 per concert to keep the cost of singing within reach for almost everyone. To continue that open-door policy, consider a corporate donation to the Singers' Music Fund. Your donation will offset the increasing cost of music and help to keep this opportunity accessible. And concert programs will recognize your organization for its generosity.
Scholastic Appreciation Fund
You can also support the Jackson Choral Society with your gift to the Scholastic Appreciation Fund. This fund makes concert tickets available to high school and college students. What an opportunity for young people to hear exceptional choral music that will fill their hearts and perhaps spark an enhanced interest in music for the rest of their lives. A $300 corporate donation to the Scholastic Appreciation Fund provides 20 student admissions. And your company will be recognized for its generosity in the concert programs.
